In this section, we talk about three things to proactively have a conversation about as a partnership:

1. Check that you have a shared understanding of what you mean when you say evaluation: that is, are you on the same page about the parts of the alphabet soup that you're including in your conversations and plans?
2. Check you have a shared understanding of why you want to evaluate: what is the purpose of your evaluation?
3. Work together and check you have a shared understanding of how you want to evaluate: what does good like to you?
